Lifts That Fit Your Pontoon
A pontoon's wide, flat deck needs a lift sized to its weight and beam. These Econo Lift models are rated for pontoons — pick by capacity and water depth, or tell us about your boat and we'll match you. Running a three-tube boat? See our tritoon boat lifts.
Choosing a Pontoon Lift
The Right Lift for a Pontoon
For most recreational pontoons, a 4,500 lb or 6,500 lb lift is the sweet spot. What matters as much as capacity is support: a pontoon's two tubes are set wide, so the lift's arms and bunks need to carry that beam evenly — not load a single point.
If your dock sits in a shallow cove or a stretch of shoreline with limited depth, the Draft Series low-profile tanks let you lift where a standard lift can't. And if you've moved up to a heavier three-tube boat, step over to our tritoon lifts.
Every Econo Lift is built at our Camdenton, Missouri facility — not imported — using USA-sourced hot-dip galvanized steel and our own rotationally molded flotation tanks.

Why Econo Lift
Pontoon Boat Lift Features
Sized for Your Pontoon
Most recreational pontoons fit a 4,500 lb or 6,500 lb lift, with 8,000 lb on hand for the biggest, best-equipped builds.
Full-Width Deck Support
A pontoon rides on two wide-set tubes. Our multi-arm cradles and full-length bunks spread the load across that beam, supporting the tubes evenly instead of one point.
Shallow Water? Covered.
The Draft Series uses low-profile 1.5" tanks so you can lift a pontoon in shallow coves and shorelines where standard lifts can't operate.
Protects the Tubes
Keeping the pontoon up and out of the water prevents algae buildup, staining, and corrosion on the aluminum tubes between outings.
USA Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel
Every lift is built from American-made, hot-dip galvanized steel with a consistent zinc coating for long-term corrosion resistance in and around the water.
Lifetime Warranty
A lifetime warranty on the polyethylene tanks and bushings backs every pontoon lift we build — the same coverage across the entire Econo Lift line.
Pontoon Lift FAQs
Common Questions
Sizing, shallow water, hull support, and warranty — tap any question to see the answer.
-
What size boat lift do I need for a pontoon?
Most recreational pontoons fit comfortably on a 4,500 lb or 6,500 lb lift such as the Meridian 6,500 lb. Longer pontoons with larger motors and full gear may step up to 8,000 lb. Always size to your boat's wet weight — fuel, water, batteries, and gear add hundreds of pounds.
-
Do I really need a lift for my pontoon?
A lift keeps the pontoon up and out of the water between outings, which prevents algae growth, waterline staining, and corrosion on the aluminum tubes — and saves you the haul-out routine. For a boat you use all season, it pays for itself in protected resale value.
-
Can I put a pontoon lift in shallow water?
Yes. The Econo Lift Draft Series is purpose-built for limited depth — its low-profile tanks measure just 1.5" tall, so you can lift a pontoon in coves and shorelines where a standard lift simply can't go.
-
How does the lift support a wide pontoon deck?
Pontoon hulls are wide and flat, so our lifts use a multi-arm cradle and full-length bunks to distribute the load evenly across both tubes. That protects the hull and keeps the boat stable as it rises and lowers.
-
I have a tritoon — is that the same as a pontoon lift?
A tritoon adds a third tube and more weight, so it usually needs a higher-capacity lift. See our dedicated tritoon boat lifts for the right options.
-
What warranty comes with a pontoon lift?
Every Econo Lift carries a lifetime warranty on the polyethylene tanks and bushings, a 5-year warranty on hot-dip galvanized steel, and a 3-year warranty on motors, valves, and hoses. See full warranty details.
