Operating Your Econo Lift
Follow these steps to safely raise and lower your boat lift. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call us directly.
Raising the Lift
- Start from the HOLD position.
- Turn the Black handle to the Raise position.
- Turn the blower on.
- Wait for the lift to reach your desired height.
- Turn the blower off.
- Turn the Black handle back to the Hold position.
Red handle must be in the HOLD position to raise the lift.
Lowering the Lift
- Start from the HOLD position.
- Turn the Red handle to the Lower position.
- Turn the Black handle to the Lower position.
- Wait until the boat is floating freely.
- Turn the Red handle back to Hold.
- Turn the Black handle back to Hold.
Do NOT turn the motor on to lower the lift. The Red handle is for lowering only.
Additional Info
- Do not park the boat on the lift backwards, unless the lift has been specifically installed for that design.
- If you will be away for an extended period, close the safety valve on the tank for added peace of mind.
- Contact Econo Lift if you experience any issues — all service technicians are Econo Lift employees.
Quick Handle Reference
Black Handle
Controls Raise / Hold. Must be in Hold when not actively raising.
Red Handle
For lowering only. Must be in Hold when raising or in normal operation.
