    Get on a waitlist early

    Campbell Point and Long Creek say they keep a waitlist for slips.

    Ask which slips allow a lift

    And which brands the marina permits, who installs it, and whether it stays yours if you move.

    Check the contract dates

    Campbell Point: one-year minimum for first-year leases; renews automatically unless you give 30 days written notice. Cape Fair: one-year lease; liability insurance required. Hideaway: annual leases run May 1 to April 30, prorated if you start mid-year.

    Plan for high and low water

    Lake levels rise and fall. Ask how the docks handle high water and a drawdown.

How many marinas are on Table Rock Lake?

The Corps of Engineers' 2020 shoreline plan counts 15 commercial marinas with 4,375 wet slips and 380 dry slips. This guide compares 14 marinas that publish their services online. Source

Can I build a private boat dock on Table Rock Lake?

Only on shoreline the Corps zones for limited development, about 10 percent of the lake. New private docks there can have one or two slips, community docks 2 to 20, and a household can hold no more than two slips. Check the Corps' shoreline maps and talk to the Table Rock Project Office before you buy lakefront land for a dock. Source

Can I keep my boat on a lift in a Table Rock marina slip?

At several marinas, yes. Campbell Point Marina says most of its annual slips include a boat lift and it can arrange one for a slip that doesn't. State Park Marina offers boat lifts to rent or buy, Cape Fair and Hideaway marinas lease lifts, Kings River Marina rents lifts for boats of 6,000 lbs, 8,000 lbs and larger, Eagle Rock Marina helps slip holders rent a lift, and Big M Marina has an annual lift agreement. Do Table Rock Lake marinas have waitlists?

Some do. Campbell Point Marina keeps a waitlist by slip size with no deposit, and Long Creek Marina takes annual slip requests through a waitlist. Most marinas don't publish whether they have openings, so call before you plan around a slip. Source

How much does a boat slip cost on Table Rock Lake?

Most marinas don't publish rates. Two do: Baxter Marina lists yearly wet slips from $1,835 plus tax (10 x 20 ft) to $3,300 plus tax (12 x 30 ft), and Holiday Island Marina lists yearly slips from $1,151.87 (10 x 20 ft, uncovered) to $2,072.07 (10 x 30 ft, covered), tax included. Are Table Rock Lake marinas open year-round?

Many slow down from fall to spring. Kings River Marina closes for the winter and reopens in spring, Cricket Creek Marina is open by appointment only from November to March, and Port of Kimberling's dry stack is closed from November 15 to March 15. Ask each marina what stays open in winter. Source
