Made in America for Over 40 Years
How It All Started
After visiting the area numerous times in the 70s and early 80s for vacation purposes, Bill and Joyce Robinson decided it was time for a change. In 1984 they left their farming community in Iowa, moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, and purchased Econo Lift Boat Hoist. The business started in a small garage in Linn Creek, Missouri.
Eventually, Econo Lift outgrew the space and moved to its current location during the Memorial Day weekend of 1988. Their son Steve and daughter Diane joined the company in 1986. Currently, the company has grown to employ anywhere from 18-25 employees.
Econo Lift has been a family-owned business (3rd generation) for 40 years now. We are one of the few companies at the Lake of the Ozarks that service our own products, so you know you can contact us any time you have a problem or issue. All of our repairs and servicemen are employed by Econo Lift.

100% Virgin Polyethylene
Other manufacturers use reground/recycled plastic that weakens material integrity. Our totally enclosed tanks use only 100% virgin plastic for maximum stability.
Fully Galvanized Steel
Every metal component is hot-dip galvanized for complete corrosion protection — not just painted or coated. Built to withstand the toughest marine environments.
In-House Manufacturing
Everything is built right here at our Camdenton, MO facility. We control quality at every step — from raw material to finished lift on your dock.
We Service What We Sell
We're one of the few lake companies that service our own products. All repair technicians are Econo Lift employees — contact us anytime you need help.
